  • the right of access (Art. 15 EU-DS-GVO),
  • the right to obtain cancellation (Art. 17 EU-DS-GVO),
  • the right to demand the correction (Art. 16 EU-DS-GVO),

Objection rights

Please note the following in connection with rights of objection:

If we process your personal data for the purpose of direct advertising, you have the right to object to this data processing at any time without giving reasons. This also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to direct advertising.

If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes. The objection is free of charge and can be made form-free, if possible, to: datenschutz@soldan.com.

If we process your data to protect legitimate interests, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your situation; this is also relevant to profiling based on that provision.

We will then no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the assertion, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

Purposes and legal bases of data processing

When processing your personal data, we comply with the provisions of the EU Data Protection Regulation and all other applicable data protection regulations. Legal bases for data processing arise from Art. 6 EU-DS-GVO.

We use your data to initiate business, to fulfil contractual and legal obligations, to implement the contractual relationship, to offer products and services and to strengthen the customer relationship, which may also include analyses for marketing purposes and direct advertising.

Your agreement to data processing can also be a permission requirement under data protection law. Before you give your consent, we will inform you about the purpose of the data processing and about your right of revocation.

If the consent also refers to the processing of special categories of personal data, we will explicitly point out this to you in the consent.

Processing of special categories of personal data according to Art. 9 EU-DS-GVO takes place only if this is necessary due to legal regulations and if there is no reason to consider that your interest of protection outweighs the exclusion of the processing.

Note on data transfer to the USA

Among other features, tools from companies based in the USA are integrated on our website. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to the US servers of the respective companies. We would like to point out that the USA is not a safe third country in the sense of EU data protection law. US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you as a data subject being able to take legal action against this. Therefore, it cannot be excluded that US authorities (e.g., intelligence services) process, evaluate and permanently store your data located on US servers for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.

The duration of storage of the data

We store your data if it is needed for the respective processing purpose. Please note that numerous retention periods require that data continue to be stored. This applies to retention obligations under commercial or tax law (e.g., German Commercial Code, German Fiscal Law, etc.). If there are no further storage obligations, the data will be routinely deleted once the purpose has been achieved.
In addition, we may retain data if you have given us permission to do so or if there is a legal dispute and we use evidence under legal limitation periods, which can last up to thirty years; the regular limitation period is three years.

Secure transmission of your data

We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures in order to protect the data that is held by us, in the best possible way against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. The security levels are continuously reviewed in cooperation with security experts and adapted to new security standards.
The data exchange from and to our website is encrypted. We offer HTTPS as the transmission protocol for our website, in accordance with the current encryption protocols. In addition, there is the option of using alternative communication channels (e.g., the postal service).

Obligation to provide the data

Various personal data are necessary for the initiation, implementation and termination of the contractual relationship and the fulfilment of the associated contractual and legal obligations. The same applies to the use of our website and the various functions available on it.
We have summarised the details for you in the point above. In certain cases, data must also be collected or made available due to legal requirements. Please note that it is not possible to process your enquiry or implement the underlying contractual relationship without providing this data.
